Discover The Lower Zambezi National Park, on this fly-in safari with a four-night stay in the ultimate bush luxury of the Royal Zambezi Lodge.  Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, opposite Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park.

All of the lodge rooms are spaced out along the riverbank under mature trees, with private decks and views of the water.

  • Day 1: Johannesburg / Lusaka Airport / Lower Zambezi National Park

    The package includes return economy airfare with Airlink from Johannesburg to Lusaka Airport (departing at 06h15, arriving at 08h15)

    Upon arrival in Lusaka, you will be met by our representative, who will accompany you to the light aircraft for your flight to the Royal Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi (departing at 10h00, arriving at 10h30). As you approach the Zambezi Valley, you will see the massive river and its game-rich floodplains far into the distance. On arrival at Royal Airstrip, you’ll be transferred to the camp where you will stay for three nights. 

    Stay: Royal Zambezi Lodge (Deluxe room). 

    Meals: Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.

  • Day 2, 3 & 4: Lower Zambezi National Park

    Make the most of the game activities offered at the camp – morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris, canoes, and sunset boat trip on the Zambezi River all ensure your wildlife viewing is nothing short of spectacular. The best way to take in the splendour of the Lower Zambezi is by canoe, drifting along the Zambezi River amid the enigmatic hippos or try your hand at tiger fishing or relax at the pool and let the animals come to you at the river below. 

    Overnight 3 more nights: 

    Stay: Royal Zambezi Lodge (Deluxe room). 

    Meals: Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.

  • Day 5: Zambezi National Park / Lusaka Airport / Johannesburg

    After breakfast at the lodge and the last morning activity, we depart for your flight by light aircraft to Lusaka Airport (departing at 11h00, arriving at 11h30) for your onward flight home (departing at 14h15, arriving at 16h30).

  • Flight prices: Prices quoted are based on a special contract rate to eXplore Plus; if these seats are unavailable, the airfare will increase to a higher fare level.
  • Flight and airport taxes quoted are current and subject to change until we issue the tickets.
  • Inter-camp flights: Total baggage allowance: strictly 15 kg per person in soft bags plus 5kg hand luggage. Due to the size of the luggage compartments in the planes used to get guests into the camps, luggage is limited to soft bags with dimensions of 25cm (10 inches) wide by 30cm(12 inches) high and 62cm (24 inches) long.
