South Luangwa National Park, situated in eastern Zambia, is renowned as one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations and is often referred to as the birthplace of the walking safari. The park features the scenic Luangwa River, which attracts a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, and various species of antelope. Its rich biodiversity also makes it a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 400 bird species recorded.
