Itinerary

  • Day 1: Johannesburg / Lusaka Airport / Kafue National Park

    Your journey begins with a flight from Johannesburg to Lusaka Airport with Proflight (Depart: 00 / Arrive: 00), where you will be met and warmly welcomed by our representative. From Lusaka, board a scheduled light aircraft flight to Kafue National Park, followed by an en-route game drive as you make your way to your lodge, already immersing yourself in the wilderness experience.

    Stay: Ila Safari Lodge (Luxury Tent)

    Meals: Lunch, dinner, breakfast & drinks.

  • Day 2 & 3: Kafue National Park

    Guests can enjoy two safari activities per day, including morning and afternoon game drives, as well as morning and afternoon boating safaris. Walking safaris are available upon request, and fishing is also offered on a catch-and-release basis at an additional cost of US$60 per hour.

  • Day 4: Kafue National Park / South Luangwa National Parks

    In the morning, guests will take a scheduled flight by light aircraft from Kafue to Lusaka, followed by a Proflight flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe Airport. En-route, there will be game viewing on the way to your camp in South Luangwa National Park.

    Stay: Shawa Luangwa Camp

    Meals: Lunch, dinner, breakfast & drinks.

  • Day 5 & 6: South Luangwa National Park

    Guests can enjoy two safari activities per day, including morning and afternoon game drives. Walking safaris are available upon request.

  • Day 7: South Luangwa / Lower Zambezi National Park

    Heading north and east into the beautiful and diverse region of Damaraland. During the afternoon we explore the historical Twyfelfontein, an archaeological site with more than 2,500 Bushman engravings. We'll visit the Burnt Mountain, named "the fire mountain" after the effect created by the setting sun, which seems to set the granite ablaze as well as the Organ Pipes, a distinctive series of dolerite pillars exposed by erosion, before travelling to the lodge.

  • Day 8 & 9: Lower Zambezi National Park

    Guests can enjoy two safari activities each day, including morning and afternoon game drives or boating safaris. Walking safaris are available on request, while canoeing, Zambezi tiger fishing, and angling are offered at an additional cost of $70 per person per day, which covers the necessary license fees.

    Stay: Sausage Tree  Camp

    Meals: Lunch, dinner, breakfast & drinks

  • Day 10: Lower Zambezi National Park Lusaka Airport / Johannesburgrk

    In the morning, guests will enjoy an activity before taking a scheduled light aircraft flight to Lusaka, followed by a flight to Johannesburg.

National Parks

Kafue National Park

Kafue National Park, located in the heart of Zambia, is one of the largest and most diverse wildlife reserves in Africa, covering over 22,000 square kilometers. The park features vast landscapes that range from lush wetlands and riverine forests to open plains and woodlands. South Luangwa National Park

South Luangwa National Park, situated in eastern Zambia, is renowned as one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations and is often referred to as the birthplace of the walking safari. The park features the scenic Luangwa River, which attracts a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, and various species of antelope.
