National Parks

Part of the Chobe National Park, the Savuti Channel is a legendary waterway known for its dramatic cycles of flowing and drying up. The surrounding area, covering roughly 5,000 km², features open savannahs, marshlands, and woodlands, attracting abundant wildlife. It is famous for large elephant herds, prides of lions, hyenas, and cheetahs, as well as migratory zebras and wildebeest. Seasonal variations make it one of Africa’s most dynamic and rewarding safari destinations.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site covering up to 15,000 km², this inland delta is created by the Okavango River fanning out across the Kalahari sands. Seasonal floods transform the arid landscape into a lush wetland, supporting huge concentrations of wildlife. Known for mokoro (dugout canoe) safaris, it provides sanctuary to elephants, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, and an extraordinary diversity of birds and aquatic life.

A 5,000 km² reserve within the Okavango Delta, renowned as one of Africa’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. It protects a mosaic of habitats including floodplains, lagoons, mopane woodland, and acacia forests. Home to elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the endangered African wild dog. Birdlife is prolific, with over 500 recorded species, making it a paradise for safari enthusiasts.
