National Parks

A 230 km² private conservancy located in northern Kenya between the Laikipia Plateau and the Great Rift Valley. Loisaba protects open savannahs, rolling hills, and riverine habitats, supporting elephants, giraffes, Grevy’s zebra, lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. The conservancy is well known for its strong commitment to conservation, community partnerships, and low-impact tourism, offering a mix of game drives, walking safaris, camel trekking, and night drives in a remote wilderness setting.

Kenya’s most famous reserve (~1,510 km²) adjoining Tanzania’s Serengeti. Renowned for the annual Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River. The reserve supports high densities of predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Rolling savannahs, riverine forests, and acacia woodlands make it a biodiversity hotspot with over 450 bird species.

One of Kenya’s iconic parks (392 km²) lying at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro on the Kenya–Tanzania border. Amboseli is famed for its free-ranging elephant herds (among the best places in Africa for up-close elephant encounters), five distinct habitats (from wetlands to woodlands), and postcard-perfect views of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak.
