Spending three nights at Mokolwane and three nights at Mbamba allows you to explore two unique and beautiful areas within the Okavango Delta. An added highlight of this safari is a scenic helicopter flight to and from Mokolwane Camp, offering you stunning panoramic views of the lush wilderness as you travel to your destination. Itinerary (Day by Day)

Flight from Johannesburg to Maun Airport. Upon arrival in Maun, you will be met by our representative, who will accompany you to your Helicopter flight to the Xudum Concession area. Meet and greet the camp team on arrival for your transfer and check-in. On arrival, you will be introduced to your guides to discuss activities during your stay at the camp. Join us for an afternoon game drive.

National Parks

Located in the south-western reaches of the Okavango Delta near the Khwai area, the Xudum Concession is a pristine wilderness characterised by permanent waterways, floodplains, palm islands, and savannah. This remote concession supports a rich diversity of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and African wild dogs. Seasonal flooding creates excellent opportunities for both land-based safaris and water activities such as mokoro excursions, offering an exclusive and intimate Okavango safari experience.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site covering up to 15,000 km², this inland delta is created by the Okavango River fanning out across the Kalahari sands. Seasonal floods transform the arid landscape into a lush wetland, supporting huge concentrations of wildlife. Known for mokoro (dugout canoe) safaris, it provides sanctuary to elephants, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, and an extraordinary diversity of birds and aquatic life.
