A 2,196 km² wilderness in northern Zimbabwe, along the lower Zambezi River, known for its beautiful floodplains and oxbow lakes (“pools”). Mana Pools is a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for walking safaris and canoe safaris that bring you close to abundant wildlife – elephants, large herds of buffalo, hippopotamus and crocodiles in the river, lions, leopards, and a high density of other animals – all against the backdrop of the Zambezi and the Rift Valley escarpment.
