A compact 260 km² park in central Uganda that is a mosaic of rolling acacia woodlands, open savannah, and papyrus wetlands. Lake Mburo NP contains five lakes within its borders, providing habitat for hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds (like fish eagles and kingfishers). Notably, it’s one of the few parks in Uganda with zebra and impala, and it also hosts eland, buffalo, leopard, hyena and giraffe – making it an accessible spot to see a variety of wildlife on foot, by vehicle or even by boat.
