Located near the town of Kasane in northern Botswana, this forest reserve forms an important wildlife corridor between Chobe National Park, the Zambezi River, and neighbouring conservation areas. The reserve is characterised by teak forests, riverine woodland, and open grasslands, supporting wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, antelope, and a variety of bird species. Its strategic position makes it significant for both biodiversity conservation and as a buffer zone linking major protected ecosystems in the region.
